Community Arts Education
The mission of GCAC's Community Arts Education Program is to provide programs, information, education, and hands-on opportunities for the benefit of young people and professional educators in Columbus.
ARTS CLASSifieds
GCAC's ARTS CLASSifieds, launched in 2003 on the GCAC and ColumbusArts web sites (GCAC.org & ColumbusArts.com), is an online, searchable database that enables users to access arts education program providers and their program information. In 2005, the search mechanism for the ARTS CLASSifieds online directory was enhanced to allow the user a more specific and targeted search for arts education programs in the county. GCAC also created Spanish and Somali language versions of the ARTS CLASSifieds online directory with grant funding assistance from the National Endowment for the Arts. The ARTS CLASSifieds online directory attracts approximately 1,500 unique visitors per month.
