Columbus Arts Endowment

Museums, galleries, theatres, concert halls, and performance spaces delight throughout Columbus; diverse arts organizations deliver the world of culture to our doorstep; generations of the past have planted the seeds of the artistic abundance we enjoy today.

With your help, the Columbus Arts Endowment helps the Columbus community to preserve, protect, and nurture Columbus' cultural future. Your action now will impact Columbus' artistic community for generations to come.

History and Mission

Created by past chairs of the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the endowment continues the spirit of advocacy and partnership GCAC has encouraged since its inception. Culture is the exclusive focus of the endowment, which is intended to supplement, not replace, existing broad-based philanthropic support. Gifts and bequests can be directed to specific programs or an unrestricted general fund for the arts in central Ohio.

The Board of Trustees of the Columbus Arts Endowment consists exclusively of past chairs of the Greater Columbus Arts Council.

  • David Barker, Chair
  • Peggy Mativi, Vice Chair
  • Loann Crane, Secretary/Treasurer
  • S. Ronald Cook, Jr.
  • Kathleen Ransier
  • Charles R. Saxbe
