McKenzi Swinehart

Director, Grants & Community Engagement

As the Director of Grants & Community Engagement, McKenzi is responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing grants and fellowship programs, along with providing planning, budgeting and strategy support to the Vice President. She leads the General Support, Mural Assistance, and Capital Expenses grant processes and program evaluation, manages the grant submission platform and team technology needs, and researches industry trends for strategic implementation in the department.

McKenzi has a Bachelor of Arts in theater and political science from the University of Nevada, Reno and has served on the grant review panels for the Nevada Arts Council and Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. McKenzi is a proud graduate of Leadership Columbus, Class of 2019.
