Artist Information

Beverly Whiteside is a retired Dance Education Specialist in the Columbus City Schools. A self-taught artist, her work is ingrained in the African-American experience, often portraying images that reflect the joy, beauty and hardships of everyday life.

“The Dresden Residency was one of the most exciting and memorable travel experiences of my life. The Germany artist relationships and friendships continue to thrive even today! The Elbe River walks, gallery hopping, and warm conversations were the best.”
