Artist Information

Fredrik Marsh earned his BFA in Photography in 1980 and MFA in Printmaking in 1984, but has exhibited his work both nationally and internationally since 1978. His permanent collections include: Cleveland Museum of Art, Columbus Museum of Art, George Eastman House, John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, LA County Museum of Art, Milwaukee Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago, Museum of Fine Arts–Houston, Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Toledo Museum of Art, Kupferstich-Kabinett Dresden, and Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle, among others.

Marsh has taught at various colleges and universities including CCAD, OSU and abroad in Cortana, Italy, In addition to the 2002 GCAC/State of Saxony Artist Residency in Dresden, Germany, he has been  awarded the 2008 John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship, Artist’s Project Grants from OAC, and Saxony Ministry for Science & Art, Dresden, Germany.
