Artist's Narrative
Amy Schildhouse Greenberg was inspired to a career as a writer while in an 11th grade creative writing class at Eastmoor High School in Columbus, Ohio. Since then she has published more than 100 works in magazines, newspapers, and anthologies in the United States and Mexico. Amy graduated from Vassar College and spent seven years in New York City as Promotion Manager of Crown Publishers, learning firsthand how books are written, edited, designed and marketed. She spent a year writing fiction in Paris, then worked as a freelance writer in New York and Mexico City, where she also led creative writing workshops for beginners and professionals, aged 17-87. Amy also translates books from Spanish to English. She has been involved in the Artists-in-Schools program since 1991, and the Ohio Arts Council's Arts Learning program since 1997.Availability
