Columbus, Ohio – The PromoWest Productions 30th Anniversary Celebration Exhibition was installed August 27 on the outside of the A&R Music Bar.  The artwork from four central Ohio area artists will be up for one year.

The four winning artists are:  Lexie Alley (43215), Richard Duarte Brown (43227), Robert Falcone (43215)  and Soutchay Soungpradith (43082).

The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) collaborated with PromoWest Productions on the 30th Anniversary Celebration Exhibition.  Each artist was paid a $500 honorarium by the Arts Council and receives recognition on the installed work.  The selected pieces will also become part of the company’s commemorative portfolio.

About the artists:

Richard Duarte Brown has dedicated his talents for more than 20 years to helping students discover their full potential through programs including: TRANSIT ARTS Youth Arts Program, Ohio Alliance for Arts Education’s Art in the House program, CAPACITY (CAPA’s Youth Arts Program), Short Stop Youth Center, King Arts Complex, VSA Ohio and many more.   In 2013, Brown received the Arts Council’s Community Arts Partnership award for Arts Educator.

Robert Falcone is a Columbus physician, musician and artist. His undergraduate studies were at Cleveland State and Kent State Universities. His professional and graduate studies were at The Ohio State University. He has been accepted in the MFA program at the Columbus College of Art and Design for the fall. Robert is represented by the Lindsay Gallery.
