Kimberly Cole
Prior to joining Greater Columbus Arts Council, Cole worked for the Columbus Metropolitan Library since 2014, most recently serving as the Customer Services Manager at the Northern Lights branch. In 2020, she was appointed to the Library’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, including serving as a co-leader of the African American Employee Resource Group, a member of the African American Fiction Collection Review Committee, and co-manager of the DEI Strategy Group. Additionally, Cole held an accompanist position with BalletMet since 2019 and was appointed as the organization’s Community Partnership Specialist in 2022.
Cole attended Columbus College of Art & Design before graduating magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Public Management, Leadership and Policy, with a specialization in nonprofit management. Before her role at the library, she worked as the Alumni Association Coordinator for the United Way of Central Ohio’s Neighborhood Leadership Academy. Cole’s previous community roles include Central Community House Board of Trustees member 2014-2018, Education Intern for the Wexner Center for the Arts 2016-2018, and a community engagement consultant for the Rotary International Columbus Chapter’s Peacebuilding Committee 2018-2020.
