On Wednesday, April 1, join Thurber House at the Columbus Museum of Art for an evening of good books and engaging conversation as they host New York Times best-selling author Marisa de los Santos, author of The Precious One.

The third event in Thurber House’s 2015 Winter/Spring Evenings with Authors series, Marisa will read from The Precious One, the heart-wrenching story of Willow and Taisy, two sisters vying for the attention of their manipulative and narcissistic father. Willow and Taisy are struggling to gain their father’s approval when he suddenly suffers from a massive heart attack and sends the sisters down a path of discovery and acceptance.

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Columbus Museum of Art. It will close with a “coffee and cookies” reception and book signing. Thurber House also offers The Author’s Table dinner, allowing a limited number of people to have dinner with Marisa before the event.
