On June 1, we partnered with CAPA to launch #ArtUnitesCbus, an initiative to employ Columbus-based visual artists to paint murals on plywood installed over the broken windows at the Ohio Theatre and the Arts Council office. The community response has been overwhelmingly positive and the Arts Council remains committed to helping businesses and individuals who want to donate support to this effort, artists who want to connect with businesses and businesses who want to employ artists to paint their storefronts. We feel proud to have these artists in our community, and we remain committed to facilitating the connection between mural artists and local businesses hoping to show solidarity through their own storefronts.
