Art Show and Auction to Benefit Orphans!
All ages are welcome to attend the Orphan Art Show and Auction to benefit Orphan World Relief. It will be hosted by the Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Branch Children’s Section on November 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. The artwork created by children in Honduras and Bolivia is currently on display at the library until the Art Show and Auction to help people learn more about orphans at-risk kids. Orphan World Relief is a Worthington-based 501(c)(3) organization that helps at-risk children around the world where there are few, if any, social services.
There will also be artwork created by local and national artists for silent auction, music, and story time. Anyone who donates $20 or more at the Art Show will be permitted to select and take home art by one of our international child artists! All of the proceeds will benefit Orphan World Relief. There is no fee to attend this open house event. The Columbus Metropolitan Library is located at 96 S. Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.
Orphan World Relief directly supports six high quality programs to help orphans and at-risk kids in Bolivia, Honduras, India, Ukraine, and Russia with nutritional, educational, and financial assistance. With more than 147 million orphans worldwide suffering from disease, poverty, and social issues, President Doug Riggle strives for one common goal, “…relief for orphans and at- risk children.
