Whitney Johnson

My creative motivation comes from an emotional segment I tend to repeat – surviving an abusive relationship and spending several years in prison. Using my imagination to recreate memories of my past that could be described as euphoric compared to reality. Painting is a cathartic outlet exposing both positives and negatives.
