Zeph Vondenhuevel
As a nonbinary disabled 32-year-old suffering from several progressive chronic illnesses, I find that most of my art centers around the emotions of sadness and grief and trauma that directly stems from dealing with a broken medical system. Painting mostly from my bed because of all my illnesses, I explore these visceral emotions, these almost intrusive thoughts, through a variety of mixed media, though recently working with mostly oils.
