The Greater Columbus Arts Council produces a variety of events in service artists, organizations and the public throughout the year.
Join us for the Columbus Arts Festival in early June. The Arts Festival is the city’s welcome to summer event and provides access to great art, food, music, dance and hands-on activities for more than 450,000 people each year. The 2018 Columbus Arts Festival takes place June 8-10 on the Downtown Riverfront.
OppART workshops take place throughout the year. Please check out the OPPArt page for a complete listing of upcoming events.
The Community Arts Partnership Awards takes place each fall and honors individuals and businesses for their contributions to the arts in Columbus. The 2019 Awards will take place Thursday, October 31 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Visit the CAP page for complete details.
Each year the Arts Council hosts a free Public Forum that gives the community an opportunity to come together and discuss a timely and important topic, as well as ask the Arts Council questions about our activities, grant programs and more. Visit the Public Forum page for more details about the most recent Forum.
