Join us as we continue a series of community engagement opportunities themed “Culture Conversations in Community”. Attendees will be invited to explore four elements: historical context, cultural inheritance, generational trauma and healing from history.

This series will center and uplift cultural stories in Ohio's capital city including and especially the lesser known but true, lived experiences of diverse residents in Ohio. The series will offer several different engagement formats from February to May 2024, with this first engagement event utilizing tenets of the Art of Hosting World Café format. Conversations will be carefully facilitated and moderated by KiMISTRY, applying principles and invitations for attendees to experientially practice co-creating and sustaining safer, braver and more courageous spaces.

Our hope is that these events will support the cultivation of trauma-informed and healing centered opportunities for residents of all races, ethnicities and generations uniquely impacted by the complex cultural history of the world, the region, the state and the city of Columbus, Ohio. This event is part of an engagement series for The Reimagining Columbus Project, funded by The Mellon Foundation.
