Moxy Martinez they/them/he/him
Moxy Martinez (They/Them), a self taught DJ & producer, has composed, performed, produced, and contributed original music and DJ sets nationally and internationally since 2003.
Notably, Moxy produced and was a performer at Patchworks: Synthesize Synchronicities – a one night only event focusing on female/trans/nonbinary synth artists fully supported by The Wexner Center For The Arts (January 2023). Additionally, also in collaboration with The Wexner Center and Counterfeit Madison, Moxy produced the sold out event ‘Say A Little Prayer: An Aretha Franklin Celebration’ held at the Lincoln Theatre (February 2020).
Moxy is also the founder of the Columbus Synth Slam (August 2017): A synthesizer based, fully interactive event focused on the joys of synthesis, synth music, circuit bending and patch making.
They have been DJ mainstays at the Columbus Museum of Art, a resident DJ at the Columbus Flea, and are invited to DJ private and public dance events throughout Ohio and the Midwest.
