APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE 2011 COLUMBUS ARTS FESTIVAL

Columbus, Ohio – The 50th annual Columbus Arts Festival presented by Time Warner Cable is now accepting food vendor, caricature artist and street performer applications for the 2011 event which will take place June 3, 4 & 5 in the Discovery District downtown. Deadline for these applications is January 28, 2011.

The Festival is looking for accomplished individuals to submit work for selection for caricature and street performance slots. Chosen participants will be appointed times throughout the festival. Food vendors from across Columbus are invited to submit applications to serve hungry arts festival patrons.  For specifics regarding each of the applications and details of participation, visit the Festival Apply page.

The Columbus Arts Festival, produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, will celebrate its 50th year of bringing the best in fine art and fine craft to Columbus. The Festival hosts hundreds of juried artists from across the United States, as well as a few international artists each year. Music, poetry and community performance stages, hands-on arts activities for the entire family, exhibitions of local student artwork and quality food and beverages round out Columbus’ favorite outdoor summer event.
