COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Arts Festival jury will choose the 2011 event artists at a two-day public meeting Feb. 5-6 at the Westin Columbus, 310 S. High Street. The 50th Anniversary of the Columbus Arts Festival presented by Time Warner Cable will take place June 3, 4 & 5 in the Discovery District in downtown Columbus.

Jury panelists will review more than 1,000 artist applications from across the country to determine the approximately 230 who will be invited to participate in this year’s event, produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council. The jury will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 5 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 6.

Each year, artists who wish to be considered for the Festival apply through ZAPPlication™, an online application tool, by submitting four digital images of their work and one image of their booth display.
