Greater Columbus Arts Council Appoints New Board Member

Columbus, Ohio – The Greater Columbus Arts Council has announced the appointment of David M. Feinberg to the Board of Trustees.

“We are delighted to once again have a representative on our board from AEP, one of Columbus’ most important corporate and community partners.” said Tom Katzenmeyer, President of the Greater Columbus Arts Council. “We thank David for volunteering his valuable time and expertise to advance arts and culture in Central Ohio.”

David M. Feinberg is executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of American Electric Power. He is responsible for all corporate legal affairs and supervision of AEP’s Legal Department. Feinberg joined AEP as senior vice president and general counsel of AEP Service Corporation in 2011.

Prior to joining AEP, he was vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Allegheny Energy, Inc., where he served as senior litigation counsel and later as deputy general counsel and corporate compliance officer. Before joining Allegheny, Feinberg was a partner in the law firm of Jenner & Block in Chicago, where he specialized in complex commercial litigation.

Feinberg received his juris doctorate degree from Harvard Law School where he was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law and Technology. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics and a BA in Psychology, both from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the Board of Trustees of CAPA and the board of the Columbus Police Foundation. He and his wife, Felicia, have two daughters and reside in New Albany, Ohio.
