The Greater Columbus Arts Council aims to connect individual artists and arts organizations to opportunities and to each other. One way we do this is by populating this section of our website with information on various internal and external opportunities. These opportunities are shared broadly through our monthly OPPArt newsletter. In addition, we offer free professional development workshop series, round-table discussions, and social events.

Name: Call for entries: Vinilonga – music video & short film festival

Description: We are a new underground film festival with an open call for audiovisual artists working on narrative or documentary, experimental, sensory, animated, dance short films and music videos. We are looking forward to create a bi-monthly film festival online based on different themes, which can also be a platform with interviews to artists, reviews of their work and more. We specially encourage Female, LGBTIQ+, Senior, young, disabled, and other underrepresented creators to submit their art.

We will also organize live screenings offline in cultural centers in Buenos Aires and other venues.

Name: RFP for Cleveland Clinic BioRepository Public Art Project
Organization: The Cleveland Clinic
Description: In conjunction with the June 2021 inauguration of a BioRepository building currently under construction on Cedar Avenue at East 100th St., Cleveland Clinic Art + Design Institute in collaboration with Karamu House, will commission an artist/s to engage residents of the Fairfax neighborhood in a social practice based process resulting in the production of a public-facing art project on the BioRepository site.

$75,000 total project budget including artist’s fee, all material and production costs and installation. First installment of $25,000 will be made upon completion of a contract, but before December 31, 2020.
