2015 Greater Columbus Arts Council Guidelines Now Available

Columbus, OH – The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) offers financial support to the city’s artists and arts organizations.  Each year the Arts Council seeks constituent feedback on Guidelines and applications and works to align funding programs alignment with community goals. The 2015 Guidelines offer changes for a few programs.

What’s New!

Operating Support

Operating support organizations with budgets under $5 million are now eligible for project support for new activities or collaborations.

Artist Eligibility

New for this year, artist eligibility has been expanded to include artists who work in the City of Columbus.

Choral Composition Program

The Arts Council is launching a new Choral Composition fellowship program in partnership with the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus (CGMC).  The recipient of this fellowship award will receive $5,000 and have their selected choral piece performed by CGMC.

Appeals Process

Appeals may be filed if an organization disputes a recommendation on the grounds of procedural error and may request a review of that recommendation by the Arts Council Board of Trustees.

Operating Support – March 2; 5 p.m.

Project Support – April 15, July 15, October 15; 5 p.m.

Community Impact – April 15, July 15, October 15; 5 p.m.

Performing Artist Fee Subsidy – First Monday of every month; 5 p.m.

BOOST – First Monday of every month; 5 p.m.
