The Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Big Arts Night is an annual blow-out celebration for those who love the arts—from artists to arts organizations, from individual patrons to business supporters.
Formerly the Columbus Arts Partnership Awards luncheon, the night begins by celebrating multiple awards to artists, supporters and arts organizations. The arts play a key role in city revitalization, growth and tourism, and these awards recognize the individuals and groups that have a significant impact on Columbus through their work. The awards presentation is followed by a big party that includes arts experiences, food, drink and the chance to reconnect and engage with award winners and arts friends.
In 2023 GCAC will present the Michael B. Colman Arts Partner Award, Dale E. Heydlauff Community Arts Innovation Awards, The Columbus Makes Art Excellence Awards and recognize the Artists Elevated and Hanley Award recipients (a total of at least $165,000 in awards); and celebrate GCAC’s 50th anniversary.
