Community & Street Performer/Music Everywhere Program

The Community & Street Performer/Music Everywhere Program is a project of the Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) in partnership with Music Columbus and other community organizations. The Community & Street Performer database hosts profiles for performers who wish to play at partner venues and by matching dollars with community partners the program pays performers to appear on at outdoor markets, during events and in various outdoor and indoor venues throughout central Ohio. Tapping into the amazing talent of our city’s artists, this program shines a spotlight on the creative energy of Columbus and ensures that artists receive fair compensation for their time.

Partner Guidelines

Below you will find links to our partner’s guidelines. Please review these carefully as each partner has specific requirements.

Community & Street Performer General Cancellation Policy (this may vary by partner, please review their guidelines for their specific cancellation policy and any other unique conditions):

  • If the performer cancels at any time, they will not be paid. Performers are requested to provide at least three days’ notice, but more if possible, if they need to cancel a performance.
  • Canceling less than 24 hours in advance may jeopardize a performer’s chances for future bookings.
  • If the Partner cancels 24 hours or less in advance the Performer will be paid in full.

Please note, the Greater Columbus Arts Council does not do the booking for these opportunities. Each partner selects and books their own performers. Partner contact information is in the guidelines. We encourage you to reach out to partners you are particularly interested in playing for and ask that they consider you for future performances.
