2010 COLUMBUS ARTS FESTIVAL STREET CLOSINGS AND PARKING INFORMATION

The Columbus Arts Festival presented by Time Warner kicks off the summer event season this weekend!  Following is information regarding Festival area street closings, parking and transportation options.

Festival Hours:

11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fri., Jun. 4 and Sat., Jun. 5

11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sun., Jun. 6.

STREET CLOSINGS

The following streets will close at 9 a.m. on Thu., Jun. 3 and will re-open at 4 a.m. on Mon., Jun. 7. Broad Street will remain open throughout the event.

• Cleveland Avenue from Broad Street to Long Street

• 9th Street from Broad Street to Long Street

• Washington Avenue from Broad Street to Long Street

• Gay Street from Grant Street to Washington Avenue

• Boone Street from Washington Avenue to 11th

The following street will close at 10 a.m. on Thu., Jun. 3 and will re-open at 4 a.m. on Mon., Jun. 7:

• Long Street from Cleveland Avenue to Washington Avenue

PARKING

Parking is available in garages and lots throughout the Columbus State Community College, CCAD and surrounding areas. Parking at most area schools and universities will be $5, with proceeds going to student scholarships.

Limited wheelchair-accessible parking is available off of Spring Street in a marked parking lot. Wheelchairs are available for use by the public at the information/volunteer tents throughout the Festival site.

Other Transportation Options

COTA will operate regularly scheduled bus service during each day of the Festival. And once again, the Columbus Arts Festival has teamed up Consider Biking to provide a secure corral for bikes at the corner of Long St. and Washington all weekend.

 

The Columbus Arts Festival is presented by Time Warner Cable.
