COLUMBUS, Ohio – Twenty-one grants totaling $204,221 were approved by the Greater Columbus Arts Council Board of Trustees for 2019 Project Support: Cycle 2 grants. Additionally, the Board approved 10 BOOST grants totaling $59,030 in May.
Project Support: Project Support grants provide funding for a broad range of arts and cultural projects, events and programs.
Through the Project Support program, support is provided to a variety of diverse art experiences for our community, including free events such as Columbus Soul Festival, Goodale Park Music Series and VIVO Music Festival. Several grantees offer free and low-cost arts programming year-round, including Maroon Arts Group and Wild Goose Creative. New applicant 3060 ARTWORKS is a new gallery offering monthly openings with featured and resident artists as part of a recently created Hilltop Art Hop.
