In 2010, the Columbus Arts Festival, produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, will celebrate its 49th year of bringing the best in fine art and fine craft to Columbus. The Festival hosts approximately 230 national and international visual artists each year, chosen by a jury from more than 1,000 applications. Gourmet food and beverages, hands-on art activities for the entire family, exhibitions of local student artwork and music and spoken word performances round out the city’s favorite outdoor summer event.

Poets chosen to perform at the event will read at appointed times in the Poetry Corner tent – a location dedicated to poetry performance. Musical performers will play on either the Main or Club stages. Food vendors will receive a booth space to sell goods throughout the event. Creative menus are encouraged.
