The Greater Columbus Arts Council Appoints New Board Members

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Greater Columbus Arts Council has announced the appointments of Shannon Crane, Kimber Perfect and Michael Stinziano to its Board of Trustees.

“We are very pleased to welcome these new board members,” said Tom Katzenmeyer, President and CEO of the Greater Columbus Arts Council. “They bring a wide range of expertise to GCAC and its programs; we appreciate that they are volunteering their valuable time to enrich the growing Columbus arts community.”

Shannon Crane is an Ohio native raised in Chillicothe. She previously worked in operations and management at Express headquarters in Columbus. She has served on boards and in various capacities with The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, Maryhaven, March of Dimes, Art For Life, Columbus Academy and Tobacco to 21. Her favorite passion is being a reading buddy in the Columbus Public Schools. She lives in Dublin with her husband of 14 years, Rob, and their two sons, Connor and Chase.

Kimber Perfect is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications for the Office of Mayor Andrew J. Ginther. She brings more than 30 years experience in strategic communications and marketing, brand development, public relations, public affairs and community engagement. As Deputy Chief of Staff, she oversees marketing and communications for the administration, serves as liaison to the Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks and is a liaison to the arts community. Prior to joining Mayor Ginther’s administration, Perfect served as vice president for Marketing and Communications at Columbus College of Art & Design, senior vice president at Paul Werth Associates and chief marketing officer at the Ohio Department of Development.

Michael Stinziano is a member of the Columbus City Council. From 2011 to 2016, he represented the residents and businesses of Columbus in the Ohio General Assembly. At the Statehouse, Council Member Stinziano received numerous honors and awards, including several Legislator of the Year awards. He was a proven leader in creating jobs to grow Ohio’s economy and championed legislation that fostered small business growth to create, retain and sustain good paying jobs in Central Ohio.
