COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) and PromoWest Productions are proud to announce the 10 finalists for the 2019 exhibition on A&R Music Bar.
The finalists are Jennifer Bender, Ty P. Carroll, Sara Castro, Larry Hamill, Tom Hubbard, G. Ryan Hudson, Lee Mora, Darrek M. Roberston, Stephanie Rond and Roger J. Williams.
Public voting is now open at promowestartexhibit.com.
One vote per person will be counted, and the deadline to vote is April 12 at 11:59 p.m.
The four artists with the most votes will have their work displayed on the south side of A&R Music Bar in the Arena District for one year. Each will be paid a $500 honorarium by the Arts Council and receive recognition on the installed work.
Submissions were accepted from January through the end of February, and 35 Central Ohio artists submitted work. A review committee of community and Arena District business representatives selected the 10 finalists based on the criteria of originality, creative execution and general appeal.
